I have enjoyed a career in news and magazine writing and editing, and enjoy teaching young people how to put their best foot forward when it comes to papers, test prep and college entrance exams.

I am a 1996 graduate of Texas Christian University (Master’s of Science, Media Studies) who enjoys creative and academic writing instruction with an extra emphasis on college test and entrance essays. I have a background in news and magazine writing and editing, and enjoy teaching writing to Middle and High School students, as well as those taking first-year college courses.
Writing can be intimidating, but with the right instruction, it can actually be fun!
