About William
I have 10 years of experience teaching architecture and hold a Master’s Degree in Architecture. My professional and academic training provided me with a deep understanding of design theory, spatial reasoning, and creative problem-solving, which I incorporate into every lesson. I have worked on numerous design projects, gaining practical insight into the intersection of aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability, which I bring into my teaching to make concepts accessible.
Over the years, I have guided learners at all levels, from beginners discovering foundational skills to advanced students refining their portfolios and professional presentation. My architecture lessons are designed to inspire students to transform ideas into tangible, functional, and visually engaging spaces. I cover design principles, spatial reasoning, 3D modeling, materials, structural logic, and sustainable approaches using clear, simple language. Lessons combine conceptual explanation with hands-on exercises, allowing students to practice sketching, model building, and digital visualization, giving them a full understanding of how ideas evolve from abstract concepts into practical designs.
Each lesson is adapted to the learner’s experience level. Beginners focus on proportion, basic perspective, and introductory model-making exercises, while gaining confidence in visualizing ideas. Intermediate learners explore advanced sketching, digital modeling, material selection, and design problem-solving. Advanced students refine portfolio creation, project presentation, design narration, and professional-level conceptual analysis. Every session emphasizes practice, discussion, and constructive feedback to strengthen technical skills, creativity, and critical thinking.
My goal is to nurture independent and confident designers who are able to think creatively while applying practical and sustainable solutions. I foster a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel safe experimenting and asking questions, understanding that mistakes are part of the creative process. Over time, students develop strong design judgment, clarity in visual expression, and problem-solving ability, gaining both technical competence and artistic confidence. My aim is to help students cultivate a lifelong passion for architecture while equipping them with the tools to tackle real-world challenges with innovative solutions and professional expertise.
