About Leela
My architectural journey began over eight years ago when I realized that design was not simply about constructing forms—it was about shaping how people live, move, and connect. Since then, I've worked on both academic and real-world projects, blending creativity with practicality in everything I teach. In my teaching, I emphasize exploration, discipline, and vision. I encourage students to think deeply about how architecture can serve communities, inspire emotion, and respond to environmental needs. Lessons often include design critiques, visualization exercises, and collaborative discussions that mirror real studio environments. Beyond tutoring, I participate in design workshops, assist students in portfolio preparation, and stay engaged in sustainable design initiatives. For me, teaching architecture is about empowering the next generation of creative thinkers—individuals who can imagine spaces that inspire, comfort, and endure.

Architecture lessons with me are centered on the balance between imagination and precision. Students explore design as a dialogue between aesthetics, structure, and purpose. Each session nurtures conceptual thinking and technical competence, helping students express their creativity with clarity and intention.
Beginners learn to visualize and communicate ideas through sketches, scale models, and digital tools. Intermediate learners progress to working with CAD software, understanding proportion, spatial flow, and structural logic. Advanced students tackle complex design briefs, building portfolios and integrating sustainability, cultural context, and material analysis. Every level emphasizes problem-solving through iterative design.
Architecture is more than drafting—it’s storytelling through space. Students not only learn how to design but why certain decisions matter—how light, texture, and structure influence human experience. My goal is to help students design not just buildings, but ideas that respond intelligently and beautifully to the world around them.
