About Ginnie

With 9 years of piano teaching experience and nearly 300 students taught, I provide structured, goal-oriented, and motivating lessons. I teach high school students, college learners, and adults who wish to strengthen their technical skills, musicality, and confidence in performance.

My teaching philosophy is grounded in discipline, clarity, and steady improvement. I focus on posture, hand coordination, finger independence, scales, chord transitions, rhythm accuracy, and sight-reading. I also encourage students to explore creative expression and connect emotionally with their music.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace and goals, with regular feedback and achievable targets. Many of my students have achieved excellent examination results and performed successfully in recitals, school concerts, and public events.

I strive to create a supportive, motivating, and inspiring learning environment where students feel confident and encouraged to reach their full potential as pianists.

About the lesson

My piano teaching methodology is based on Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity. I understand that each student learns music differently. Some respond well to visual sheet music, others to listening and imitation, and some prefer practical repetition. I carefully adapt my lessons to suit each learner’s style so they feel comfortable and confident.

I focus on building strong fundamentals such as posture, hand coordination, scales, rhythm control, and expression. I guide students step by step, breaking complex pieces into smaller sections. I remain flexible with lesson pacing, adjusting according to each student’s progress. This ensures steady growth without pressure.

Collaboration plays an important role in my lessons. I involve students in setting goals and choosing suitable repertoire based on their interests. A positive environment helps students overcome fear and enjoy learning.

In addition to piano, I also teach music theory, keyboard harmony, ear training, and music reading skills. These subjects strengthen overall musicianship. My goal is to help students become skilled, confident, and independent pianists.
