About Madison

I am a USA-based female piano and keyboard tutor with 6 years of online one-to-one teaching experience working with beginner students, K-12 learners, high school musicians, and college first-year students. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance with a concentration in Keyboard Studies and Music Education. My teaching experience includes beginner piano instruction, synthesizer coaching, keyboard accompaniment, and student performance preparation. I enjoy helping students build confidence through simple explanations, structured practice, and creative musical activities during live lessons!

I was honored with the “Crystal Harmony Achievement Ribbon” and the “Aurora Keys Excellence Medal” for my engaging keyboard instruction methods and student-centered teaching approach. I specialize in Synthesizer Performance, Electronic Keyboard Learning, Beginner Piano Techniques, Chord Training, and Music Reading for young learners. My classes focus on helping students improve step-by-step while also making music feel exciting, creative, and approachable. I believe every student can become more confident with the right support, encouragement, and practice strategies!

Outside music teaching, I enjoy photography during road trips across small American towns, indoor gardening, watercolor painting, café journaling, and attending community theatre performances. These hobbies help me stay creative and bring positive energy into my lessons. I always try to make my online classes welcoming, supportive, and motivating so students can enjoy learning music with confidence and curiosity!

About the lesson

My online piano, synthesizer, and keyboard lessons are specially designed for K-12 students, high school learners, college first-year students, and all age groups who want to develop strong musical skills in a comfortable and supportive environment. I teach students how to improve finger coordination, rhythm timing, note recognition, hand placement, and musical expression while making lessons enjoyable and easy to understand. Every student receives a customized learning plan based on their experience level, favorite music genres, and personal goals. Students are also welcome to share their lesson topics, sheet music, practice recordings, or school music assignments before class so I can prepare lessons according to their individual learning needs!

I teach Acoustic Piano, Electronic Keyboard, Synthesizer Performance, Chord Progressions, Scale Practice, Music Reading, Ear Training, Beginner Improvisation, Rhythm Exercises, and Performance Preparation. I also help students learn accompaniment techniques, melody development, hand independence, dynamic control, and beginner composition skills. Some students enjoy classical learning while others prefer modern pop, film music, or worship-style keyboard playing, so I adjust lessons according to each student’s interests. I believe students learn faster when lessons are connected to music styles they genuinely enjoy listening to and practicing!

During live one-to-one sessions, I focus on creating a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning step-by-step. I provide structured practice plans, easy warm-up exercises, rhythm training activities, and performance guidance to help students improve steadily. My teaching style combines technical learning with creativity so students understand both the practical and artistic side of music. I also guide students preparing for school performances, beginner recitals, keyboard clubs, music competitions, and college-level introductory music classes!

I always encourage students to practice with confidence and patience because musical progress grows through consistency and positive learning experiences. My lessons are interactive, organized, and designed to help students improve without feeling overwhelmed. I enjoy helping beginners build strong foundations while also supporting experienced students who want to improve creativity, musical expression, and technical performance. My goal is to make online piano and keyboard learning enjoyable, effective, and inspiring for every student regardless of age or skill level!
