About Stella

I am a passionate violin tutor with 7 years of experience in teaching and professional music work, and I believe education through music has the power to transform students’ lives. I teach violin to school and college students and have guided learners with different abilities and goals.

One of the most rewarding milestones in my career has been watching students grow from beginners into confident musicians through consistent practice and personal guidance. My teaching approach focuses on strong fundamentals such as posture, finger placement, bow technique, rhythm, and tone quality, while also encouraging musical expression and creativity.

I help students understand not only how to play the violin, but also how to enjoy the learning process. I believe learning should be positive and motivating, so I adapt my lessons to match each student’s pace and learning style. Teaching violin allows me to inspire students to develop confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music and education.

About the lesson

My violin teaching methodology focuses on motivation, communication, creativity, and integrity, aiming to develop students into confident, expressive, and highly skilled musicians. Lessons are interactive, structured, and tailored to individual goals, ensuring both technical growth and artistic development.

Motivation drives my approach. I work with students to set achievable goals, track their progress, and celebrate milestones, instilling pride and enthusiasm in their learning journey. Communication is essential. I maintain an open dialogue, listening attentively to students’ questions and concerns, and providing constructive feedback that helps them overcome challenges and improve their skills.

Creativity is a core element of my lessons. Students are encouraged to experiment with improvisation, interpretation, and composition, developing an individual musical voice and connecting emotionally with music. Integrity ensures that students practise responsibly, cultivate discipline, and approach learning with dedication and respect, supporting long-term growth.

In addition to violin, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and basic piano, offering students a complete foundation in musicianship. My methodology fosters technical excellence, artistic expression, confidence, and a genuine love for music.
