About Ivy
With 11 years of experience in guitar teaching and professional work, I am dedicated to helping students reach their musical goals. I teach school and college students and guide them with patience and structured learning.
One of my proudest milestones has been mentoring students who successfully performed in competitions and cultural programmes. Seeing their confidence grow over time has been the greatest reward of my journey.
I focus on step-by-step learning, starting from basic chords and rhythm exercises to advanced techniques and stage performance. I believe consistent practice and proper guidance create long-term success.
My teaching style is friendly, disciplined, and encouraging. I aim to develop not only skilled guitar players but also confident and creative individuals.

My approach to teaching Guitar focuses on gradual progress and complete understanding through Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I start with basic techniques such as tuning, simple chords, and rhythm exercises. As students improve, I introduce advanced skills like barre chords, fingerstyle patterns, and scale improvisation.
Motivation keeps students consistent and excited about learning. I create a positive environment where they feel encouraged to practise regularly. Communication ensures clarity, as I break down difficult techniques into easy and manageable steps. Integrity is reflected in my commitment to teaching proper technique and disciplined practice routines.
I guide students honestly and provide constructive feedback. Creativity is encouraged through songwriting exercises and experimenting with new sounds. Along with Guitar, I also teach music theory fundamentals and performance preparation skills.
