About Rebecca

After moving to Southern California just over ten years ago, I began my journey as an educator at CSULB. Since then I have worked full time in education as a teacher. I enjoy people of all ages and am passionate about learning. Although formal education may have its flaws, I believe there is a place for each student to find a love of learning and grow to their highest potential.

About the lesson

As a passionate lifelong learner myself, I believe that learning should be fun. With a multi-modality approach and a positive relationship with my pupils, I establish a truly unique learning experience. I first assess where my students are at in their learning and begin from there. Once I've gathered this data, I would incorporate appropriate scaffolding to guide them towards the independence they will eventually need to continue in their academic success. As a tutor, my goal is for students to build self-confidence and know that they are capable as they acquire new skills. I aim to provide them with the tools they need to continue on in future success. I am open to all grade levels.
