About Jordan
Hey!
My name is Jordan, although you’re welcome to call me Amara! For the past 7-8 years, I have studied, immersed myself, and “translated” Spanish. My professional career utilizing Spanish is definitely new, but in the past 6 months, I have held parent teacher conferences, translated worksheets, and created Spanish specific lesson plans. I will not call myself perfect or "fluent" because there’s always SO much more to learn, but I can definitely develop you and hope you will enjoy the art of communication overall!
Some funky facts about me:
-I am a rabbit mom
-I have never broken a bone *knock on wood*
-I played soccer for 13 years (go defense and midfield!!!)
-I am an iPad adult (similar to an iPad baby, but I pay bills)

-I am very adaptable! Because I typically work with a younger audience, I am used to create lessons in multiple formats: using manipulative items, videos, innovative, fun demonstrations, worksheets, etc.
-I create most of the things I have my students do so most worksheets are handmade to what fits your needs
-I have a passion for teaching and will always be there to support you! Outside of Spanish, I have tutored for SAT and Elementary level Algebra/Geometry.
-I am an International Baccalaureate (IB) Grad, I’ve studied abroad in Spain and The UK, and am constantly finding new things that expand my knowledge.
-I am open to all students at any level!
