About Alexa
As a choreographer and performance instructor, I specialize in youth education in the performing arts, and strive to foster an encouraging learning environment for students of all skill levels that will grow their confidence on stage and their appreciation for their art. Offering private lessons in musical theater, acting, dance, and choreography, I am passionate about educating others on the creativity and dedication that goes into blending vocal, dance, and acting techniques to produce spectacular performances. With experience as both a performer and educator in the arts, I bring a unique perspective to my instruction that both challenges students to go beyond their comfort zones and aids them in discovering their own creative expression in the arts while preparing them for the professional world.

Offering private lessons ranging from 45-90 minutes of instruction to students ages 8-18 of all skill levels wanting to further develop their art or simply learn a new skill! Teaches fundamentals that progress to expertise from performance and creative management experience.
Musical Theater:
Students will develop well-rounded skills in the world of musical theater that include vocal, dance, and acting techniques, as well as helping to prepare them for auditions and involvement in professional environments. As they hone in on their storytelling and creative skills, students will discover their own personal performance styles and will grow a stronger appreciation for the variety of aspects that encapsulate musical theater.
Acting:
With a focus in material interpretation and character development, students will learn a variety of techniques for utilizing the stage, their bodies, and their creative expression to have a powerful impact on their audiences. Additionally, they will utilize improvisation to better think on their feet, explore making bold choices, and to grow their confidence on stage.
