About Malakai
Hi! My name is Kai, and I am a current college student studying social work with experience working as a kindergarten instructional assistant. I am passionate about helping students learn in a supportive, patient, and encouraging environment where they feel comfortable building confidence and asking questions. Through my classroom experience, I have worked closely with students of different learning styles, abilities, and special needs, and I understand the importance of adapting lessons to fit each child individually. I have a strong passion for helping all students succeed, but I especially enjoy supporting students with special needs and creating a space where they feel understood, supported, and capable. My goal is to make learning engaging, positive, and personalized while helping students strengthen both their academic skills and self-confidence.

My lessons are designed to be supportive, engaging, and personalized to each student’s learning style and academic needs. As a current college student and kindergarten instructional assistant, I have experience working with young learners of different abilities, learning styles, and confidence levels. I believe students learn best in a patient and encouraging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. A typical lesson focuses on reviewing skills, practicing concepts in an interactive way, and building confidence through positive reinforcement and step-by-step support. I especially enjoy helping elementary and early learners strengthen foundational skills while making learning feel less stressful and more enjoyable. What sets me apart is my classroom experience, patience, and passion for helping children grow both academically and personally.
