Lyla was very helpful when I first joined band my freshman year of high school, she is a very kind and patient individual. Lyla was one of the few people who truly helped me understand learn how to play a flute starting from to basics.

I served in a marching band 3 years with Lyla and she was a very dependable and reliable player never had any complaints I when it came from orchestral pieces to Concert pieces to marching pieces she was on it

First off, she is probably one of the best, if not the best, teacher when it comes to explaining the fundamentals of playing the flute. She has shown me good qualities and characteristics that make her an outstanding teacher, whilst also being a fun person to learn from. I can go on and on, but her performance and ability to show her skills is impeccable!

Lyla has been playing the flute for seven years. She was in middle school band and continued on to high school band for all four years. She was her flute section leader from sophomore to senior year and was the best in her section. She’s always willing to lend a hand and is very patient, kind, and knowledgeable.
