About Samantha
I have been a tutor for over nine years and an in-class educator for over six. I've taught writing, English as a second language, grammar, and basic Language Arts. I've worked as an ELA interventionist for elementary school and I have taught middle school, and high school, ELA.

My goal when tutoring is to help you solve the problem, not simply give away the answers. We will work together to improve your writing, to understand a passage, and tackle whatever literary giant stands in your way!
I start every lesson by asking your goals and what you hope to achieve for that session. If we can attack one of your goals together, it's a success! Each tutoring session is tailored to your specific needs and goals.
These lessons are for all ages and skill levels! I can work with you building your writing up from sentence level or even just for basic proofreading. It's up to you.
