About Emily
As someone who has never had a person to guide me through the struggles of learning how to read or write professionally, I aspire to be that for children. Holding one’s hand through processes in which they are new to or do not particularly understand allows said person to achieve at a higher level in future years to come. Pushing myself to be at a higher reading and writing level than I ever thought I could be, I want to contribute my skills and assets to those around me.

I am motivated to prepare students in ways that I was never provided. By guiding children through fundamentals of essays such as argumentative and synthesis essays as well as the basics of learning how to read and the comprehension of said texts.
