About Eoin
Hello! I'm Eoin, a 20-year-old History undergraduate at the University of Birmingham, about to begin my third year. History has been a passion of mine from a young age, and I enjoy helping others develop both their understanding of the subject and the skills needed to succeed in exams.
I achieved three A grades at A Level in History, Economics and Geography, giving me first-hand experience of what it takes to perform at a high level. Having recently completed A Levels myself, I have an excellent understanding of the GCSE and A Level History curriculum, as well as the different exam boards, question styles, assessment objectives and mark schemes.
My aim is to make History engaging, approachable and rewarding, while giving students the confidence and exam technique needed to achieve their full potential. Whether you're aiming to improve your grades, prepare for exams or simply gain a better understanding of the subject, I'd be delighted to help.

My approach to tutoring is focused on building confidence, strengthening subject knowledge, and developing the exam skills needed to achieve top grades. Every lesson is tailored to the individual student, whether they need help understanding challenging topics, improving essay writing, or preparing for exams.
Lessons are typically one hour long and can include:
* Explaining and reinforcing key historical content.
* Homework support and guidance.
* Creating effective revision plans and techniques.
* Detailed walkthroughs of past paper questions and mark schemes to develop strong exam technique and maximise grades.
I achieved three A grades at A Level and am currently studying for a BA in History at university, giving me an up-to-date understanding of both GCSE and A Level History. While my tutoring experience has primarily been helping younger siblings, I have developed the ability to explain complex topics clearly and adapt my teaching to different learning styles.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A Level History students of all abilities, whether you're looking to improve your confidence, catch up on difficult topics, or secure the highest possible grades in your exams.
