I like to help the person feel confident about the material they are learning-- but it may be hard work. My methods include a mixture of visual mapping to connect and further understand topics, fun ways of repetition for topics of memorization and assuring the student is pro by assuring they are able to TEACH the material back- part of my philosophy is that, teaching is learning. I teach all levels of students from pre-nursing, to post graduates studying for the NCLEX or even their CCRN! I have been an ICU nurse for 5 years now; and graduated at the top of my class with a perfect GPA and multiple clinical awards. I also maintained a position as a tutor throughout college. This was easy for me to obtain because I built a passion for the material I was learning and what was training to become! You are capable of doing the same! Feeling good now; will allow you to feel good as a nurse later!
