About Leah
I graduated with a First-Class Degree in Human, Social, and Political Sciences from Cambridge University, where I specialised in Politics and International Relations. During my time at Cambridge, I was honoured with three academic excellence prizes for my achievements. After graduating, I worked for the UN in Jordan and Lebanon for two years, where I gained hands-on experience in the humanitarian sector and conflict resolution. I have now returned to education and am pursuing a Master’s in International Relations at the London School of Economics (LSE), where I continue to deepen my knowledge of global political dynamics. Alongside my studies and work, I have tutored students from all over the world, helping them excel in a variety of subjects including Politics, Sociology, International Relations, Philosophy, Economics, and Psychology. My tutoring experience spans students from diverse backgrounds and age groups, providing them with personalised support to meet their academic goals.

As a dedicated and experienced tutor, I specialise in Oxbridge and other university applications, A-level Politics, and Sociology, with over three years of experience providing tailored lessons to students preparing for university applications and their A-levels. My approach to teaching is highly personalised and adaptable to each student’s unique learning style. I take into account their individual needs, especially for neurodiverse learners, using techniques that help build confidence and ensure a solid grounding in the subject. I employ a student-centred methodology, focusing on breaking down complex concepts into manageable parts, building skills in critical thinking, and essay writing, which are crucial for success in both A-levels and university applications. Whether you need help mastering essay structures, exam techniques, or deepening your understanding of key political or sociological theories, I will work closely with you to improve both knowledge and academic performance. Lessons typically last 1 to 1.5 hours, providing an optimal length of time to maintain focus and depth of understanding. I have a strong track record of supporting students through their Oxbridge applications, preparing for A-level exams, and exploring subjects related to International Relations, Politics, and Sociology.
