About Faeryl
Kia ora!
I'm Faeryl, I'm 29 and I'm currently studying to become a teacher via distance with Massey University.
I am aiming to become a primary school teacher, I have my NCEA levels 1, 2 & 3 as well as university entrance so primary aged children would be what I'm most comfortable with.
I have managed childcare centres as well as done babysitting for the last 10 years of my life and would love to get some more hands on learning experience with children while completing my degree.
Outside of working, I love to travel and have been to over 30 countries, I have 2 beautiful dogs who I adore talking for walks and I love hiking, reading and trying new restaurants.

Getting to know kids and their families and having them be comfortable and having fun learning with me is always what I aim for, I ran a daily homework club in the childcare centres I managed and they always grew in size after the kids saw the homework club kids were having tonnes of fun.
I'm happy to do lessons remotely but I can also attend lessons in the Bay of Plenty, Taranaki or Auckland as I travel between these places frequently.
I'm happy to help with any subject, lesson length is flexible and I love doing homework help so don't hesitate to ask if there's anything extra or specific your kid/s needing help with.
