As a nursing professor, I can teach a wide range of subjects designed to help students build a strong foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of nursing. My areas of expertise include NCLEX preparation, nursing theory, pharmacology, medication math, and clinical skills. I focus on delivering lessons that integrate evidence-based practice with real-world applications, ensuring students not only understand the concepts but are also prepared to implement them in clinical settings.
In NCLEX prep, I offer targeted review sessions that cover key topics such as medical-surgical nursing, pediatric care, maternity, and mental health. These lessons are designed to build critical thinking and test-taking strategies. For theory review, I break down complex concepts into digestible, student-friendly content, using case studies and interactive discussions to encourage active learning.
Pharmacology and medication math are essential areas I emphasize for safe nursing practice. I teach students how to accurately calculate dosages, understand pharmacokinetics, and apply pharmacological principles to patient care.
