About Yuchen

Yuchen Zhao is an accomplished violinist and passionate music educator with over 7 years of teaching experience. Currently a member of The Orchestra Now (TON) in New York, Yuchen has performed at world-renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and the National Center for the Performing Arts in China. He has collaborated with celebrated musicians including Kerson Leong, Marcus Roberts, and Tan Dun, and has won awards at international competitions like the Alba Music Competition and the Hong Kong International Music Festival. As a dedicated violin teacher, Yuchen has taught at the China Philharmonic Angel Art School and the Long Island Music Conservatory in New York. He specializes in teaching students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced players. With a fun and engaging teaching style, Yuchen creates a positive and inspiring learning environment, especially for young children. He focuses on building strong technical foundations, developing musical expression, and preparing students for performances, exams, and competitions. Yuchen holds a master’s degree from the Bard Conservatory of Music and a bachelor’s degree from the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music.
