About Beck
Hi, my name is Beck! I am a rising junior at The College of New Jersey double majoring in Secondary Special Education and Biology.
I currently serve as the treasurer for my school’s Outdoors Club, am a DJ at our radio station, 91.3 WTSR, and am a theater kid (I did theater for ten years)! Some of my hobbies include hiking, reading, and knitting.
I know that science can be an intimidating subject, so I am ready to help with any questions in biology, general chemistry, and environmental science!

I like to approach problems by breaking them down and working step by step to come to a conclusion! I recommend and request that you share with me which topics you need help with before our lesson so I can prepare to give you the best help!
A typical plan for me would be showing an example problem, doing practice problems together and reviewing the concept, and then letting you try a few on your own. I also utilize videos, analogies, and talking out concepts to best learn them.
My goal is to prepare you for whatever exams or quizzes you have while instilling confidence in science topics! I want to provide a lesson that uses the best tools in guiding you through whatever problems or questions you may have :)
