About the lesson

As a highly driven International Baccalaureate Student, I am heading to pursue Law in the UK, with aspirations to become a barrister. The interdisciplinary nature of the IB program has instilled discipline within me, teaching me how to time manage effectively and work under high-pressure. I thoroughly enjoy writing and researching about topical issues which I express through my blog page on Medium. Coming from a third world country, my personal observations have inspired my passion for the power of law as a mechanism to enforce equality and strive for an equitable society. Having received numerous academic awards over the past four years as well as engaging in internships, reading academic papers, listening to university lectures and immersing in work experiences, I hold the belief that I am capable of pursuing the field as both an academic discipline and a practical career. Whilst my numerous volunteering opportunities have instilled the value of compassion, my leadership roles have equipped me with the tools and methods useful for effective collaboration. Through my experiences and diverse linguistic skills, I have refined my ability to engage with a wide range of ages, genders, nationalities etc. I enjoy working in both independent and collaborative settings which allow me to inspire and be inspired.
