About Tanya
My name is Tanya Perez and I am a classically trained violinist. I am currently studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. I have had teaching experiences at my previous music school for children from ages 5-10 years old.
Having played the violin since the age of 5, I have participated in many music festivals, art auctions and gala nights, as well as playing at Kensington Town Hall for the Mayor of London.
My previous job has given me a guidance on how to jump start a young musicians interest in learning the violin, and I will plan to make these lessons as fun as possible! My age preferences would be from age 5-10.

My lessons will be tailored to suit individual students' needs. Where one student may thrive by having an exam as a goal, other students may work better by trying to learn a favourite piece. I will concentrate on the foundations of Violin technique (having good posture and bow hold, producing a good sound, accurate intonation and a good sense of rhythm) as well as nurturing a love of music and a sense of individual musicality.
I have been a music teaching assistant at the colourstrings music school, so would be suited more to younger students varying from the ages of 5-11.
Length of lessons would depend on the age of the student, but my fees would be:
-£35 for 60mins
-£30 for 45mins
-£25 for 30mins.
