About Hazel
Having been learning English for 16 years and counting, I am confident to offer support on IELTS and tutoring on English for non-native speakers. I myself have developed different methods to approach the language, and have reached a high level of fluency. With my experience with international students, I have developed patience and dedication towards teaching and understanding. I have continued to refine and develop my English proficiency in my area of study, music. I have taken Musicology modules in university, requiring attention to reading academic texts and writing essays.

Taking a supportive and personalised approach, I aim to focus on understanding how each student learns best and adapt my explanations to be clear and engaging. Lessons typically last around 30-45 minutes, but I’m happy to adjust based on the student’s needs. I teach English lessons for secondary students of B2 level or below, including support on IELTS and other qualifications. My qualifications include: IELTS 8.0 (2023) GCSE English language and literature: Grade 8 (2022)
