About Danica
I am currently a learning assistant at the school for the blind and low vision. I am very passionate about what I do and believe that akonga/students are the way of the future.
I’m hoping to one day pursue my dream of opening a youth centre to help educate and provide support for students. I feel that tutoring will be a great way to get a step closer to this goal as I gain more experience. I’m very dedicated, hardworking and reliable individual.
I love Sciences and throughout my school career I have achieved good grades in English and Math as well.
I prefer to teach younger students to help set them up for high school and further study such as university.

I believe that everyone learns differently in their unique way. By having a structured plan I can make studying practical while enjoyable. I believe that lessons should be 1 hour; 30 minutes with straight concentration, 5 minutes break, 15 minutes of more straight concentration, and 10 minutes for quizzing the student to see their understanding, and if they have questions, we can address them in more depth.
An award system can also be very helpful in making learning more fun.
