About Catherine
I am currently studying right now at university however in my gap year I worked as an au pair abroad and spent a lot of time helping children with their homework and preparation for tests. It brought me so much joy to their progression and alongside this I loved preparing and finding material they would find useful in their revision and learning.

I believe the best way to learn is through techniques tailored to the person learning that information whether that is active recall, practice questions, spaced repetition or even mind mapping. I especially believe when teaching younger children mixing up learning methods and using material such as videos and pictures which visually represent the information in a simple form is great for picking up important information and gives them something to visualise in an exam.
