About Jack
I am a first year student at Lancaster University, studying economics, having previously attended Tiffin School (a grammar school in London). I achieved a full set of 12 GCSE grades between 7-9 (A-A* equivalent) and also achieved 3 A grades at A level. Having previously attended further tuition, and having worked as a tutor for the last 2 years, I have the knowledge and skills to support progression and success. As a friendly, approachable and organised individual, I am confident that my lessons will be both enjoyable and inspire my students to thrive in their studies.

I typically offer 1 hour lessons, however this is flexible depending on student needs - I would be happy to offer longer or shorter classes. As a university student, my hours are also very flexible, allowing students to fit in lessons around any commitments. My teaching style is methodical and systematic, beginning with an assessment of the student's understanding, and progressing to worked-examples and practice questions. Lessons will always be engaging, tailored to the student and well-structured. With extensive experience working as a tutor throughout sixth form, I have all of the skills and experience required to support success from my students. Having previously taught students at all levels from the ages of 5-16, I happily offer lessons to students of any age and background, up to GCSE level. All students will be greeted by a friendly demeanour and will receive a high standard of teaching at all times. I very much look forward to teaching you.
