About Frankie
I am a university student studying Economics and Mathematics, with a strong academic background in both subjects and a genuine interest in helping others develop their understanding and confidence.
I have experience tutoring students in Mathematics and Economics across GCSE and A-level, as well as younger students. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take the time to adapt my teaching to their individual ability, goals and learning style.
I aim to create lessons that are clear, engaging and supportive, while still maintaining a professional and focused approach. I believe that students learn best when they understand why something works, rather than simply being told how to get the right answer.
Whether a student is struggling with a particular topic, preparing for an important exam, or looking to push their grades further, I provide structured lessons designed around their specific needs. My goal is to build not only academic ability, but also the confidence to approach unfamiliar questions independently.

I offer friendly, structured one-to-one tutoring in Economics, focusing on helping students genuinely understand the subject rather than simply memorising methods or answers.
My approach is tailored to each student. I first identify areas of difficulty and then build lessons around them, explaining concepts clearly and breaking challenging topics into manageable steps. I use worked examples, questioning, guided practice and exam-style questions to make sure students can apply what they have learnt independently. I also encourage students to explain their reasoning, as this helps identify gaps in understanding and builds confidence.
For Economics, I place particular emphasis on understanding economic theory, applying it to real-world situations, developing clear chains of analysis and evaluation, and improving exam technique. I find that students with a deeper understanding of the content as opposed to just memorising ideas usually perform stronger and will always retain that knowledge for years to come which is especially useful for those continuing onto University or onto A-Levels from GCSEs.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although longer or shorter sessions can be arranged where necessary.
I am a university student studying Economics and Mathematics and have experience tutoring students across GCSE, A-level and younger age groups. I currently tutor both Mathematics and Economics and adapt my teaching style to suit the student's age, ability and individual goals.
My lessons are suitable for students from approximately Year 7 through to A-level, whether they are looking to catch up on difficult topics, prepare for exams, improve their grades, or simply develop greater confidence in the subject.
The aim of every lesson is simple: to leave the student understanding something that they previously found difficult, and feeling more confident about tackling it themselves.
