About Tahjae
As an onsite school tutor, small group teacher, and coach at Lafayette Academy Charter School, I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students. My passion for teaching and helping others has driven me to pursue these roles, and I am grateful for the experiences that have come with them. As an onsite school tutor, I have been able to work one-on-one with students who need extra help in specific subjects. This role has taught me the importance of patience and understanding when working with struggling students. It has also allowed me to develop creative approaches to teaching that cater to each student's individual needs. As a small group teacher, I have had the opportunity to lead discussions and facilitate learning among a group of students. This role has taught me how to effectively manage a classroom environment while still encouraging participation and engagement from all students. Finally, as a coach, I have been able to combine my love for auxiliaries with my passion for teaching. Coaching has taught me how to motivate and inspire my majorettes while also instilling important life skills such as teamwork and perseverance. Overall, these roles have allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. They have taught me valuable lessons about teaching, leadership, and communication that will undoubtedly benefit me in any future endeavors. It will also allow me to pass on my knowledge to individuals like you!

As an English tutor, I believe that learning this language is essential for communication and success in today's globalized world. My passion for teaching and experience in the field make me the ideal candidate to guide future students through their English language journey. With me, they will learn grammar and vocabulary and develop critical thinking skills and cultural awareness. By taking English lessons with me, they will gain confidence in their ability to communicate effectively and achieve their personal and professional goals. My classes are catered to preschool and elementary levels but I can work with high school and college levels as well.
