About Lucy
My name is Lucy. I have been living in NZ for eight years.
I completed the Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics in 2022 and am studying Psychology and Physiology major at the University of Auckland. I also volunteer at Aorere College as a reading mentor every Wednesday.
I began my first language project at 15 years old, exploring how English influenced the development of the Shanghainese dialect. I also earned a bilingual International Baccalaureate diploma in 2017 in Shanghai.
I LOVE sociolinguistics and syntax!!! I am learning Te Reo and French right now.
