About Anjali
I am currently a grad student at UCSD, and I'm living and breathing math almost everyday. Rest assured, I have plenty of experience not only being a tutor for courses that involved heavy math in undergrad, but also being around the subject in general. It would amaze many people how much engineering relies on high school math. I believe that the right perspective can change a lot of misconceptions about math as a subject (I understand it is not very well liked amongst the general populous). The intuition behind a concept is of paramount importance in my teaching style, and I believe that I can impart some of the intuition I've picked up over almost 8 years of studying math from various different angles.

I strongly believe that an intuitive grasp on math is the key way to understand almost any other natural science, or engineering for that matter. My lessons will focus more on developing that inner intuition and getting a feel for the subject. I do believe testing is important and I will try my best to create problems that make students think, but the goal is always to walk out of my class knowing more than before. My classes will gear towards strengthening high school math concepts, so anyone who wants to know more about these fundamental building blocks for science and engineering is welcome to attend.
