Hello! I’m Shobana, a dedicated tutor passionate about helping students reach their full potential. With a College Degree in Logistics from UNITAR and hands-on experience teaching primary and secondary school students, I specialize in making learning engaging, clear, and effective.

My approach is student-focused: I tailor lessons to each learner’s pace, using practical examples, interactive exercises, and clear explanations to ensure understanding. Lessons are structured, organized, and designed to build confidence, knowledge, and critical thinking skills.

About the lesson

Teaching Methodology & Techniques:
I focus on interactive and student-centered learning. I start by understanding each student’s strengths and weaknesses, then tailor my lessons to suit their pace. I use a mix of explanations, practical exercises, and real-life examples to make learning engaging and easy to understand. For language subjects, I emphasize speaking, listening, reading, and writing practice equally. I also encourage students to ask questions and think critically, not just memorize.

Lesson Length:
Typically, my lessons are 1 to 2 hours long, depending on the student’s needs and goals. I structure the time to include teaching, practice, and review, ensuring concepts are fully understood before moving on.

Qualifications & Experience:
I hold a College Degree in Logistics from UNITAR and have experience teaching both primary and secondary school students. I have also conducted tuition classes focusing on English and Bahasa Malaysia, helping students improve academically and gain confidence in their skills.

Target Students:
My lessons are designed for primary and secondary school students, but I can adapt materials for anyone needing help in English, Bahasa Malaysia, or basic study skills. My approach suits learners who want to improve grades, develop strong foundations, or prepare for exams.
