About Kat
I’ve studied a Bachelor of Psychological Science at the University of Queensland and I currently am doing research for the School of Psychology at UQ. Teaching has always been my hobby, and I understand the struggle of international students having to do additional exams above their university ones in order to work (namely IELTS) - so let me help you out!

I usually use past papers from IELTS to tutor my students. I also try to make the classes fun in general (because let's face it, IELTS is extremely boring to study for) by throwing in other content such as story-telling, role-playing, and games like Scrabble.
I scored a 8 in IELTS, and in hindsight I could have scored higher if I actually studied for it (I didn't study because I found the papers to be too boring). I sincerely don't want other students to feel too daunted by the length of the exam - it's genuinely not hard and the questions are very formulaic. As long as you recognise the patterns of the questions and prepare beforehand, you'll be fine!
