About Kaveena J
My name is Kaveena, I am currently pursuing a Biomedical undergraduate degree at the University of East Anglia. I taught English to children taking 11+, who have all successfully passed as well as my brother who achieved a grade 8 at English Literature GCSE. I would love to extend my help towards younger students who aspire to prepare for these exams and I find this would be a fulfilling experience.

My approach to private English Literature tuition is centred on building confidence, curiosity, and clear exam skills. At both 11+ and GCSE level, I focus on making texts come alive by helping students see the stories, characters, and themes in ways that feel engaging and relevant, rather than intimidating. I combine close reading and structured analysis with practical strategies for planning essays, tackling unseen texts, and developing critical vocabulary. Lessons are tailored to each student’s individual strengths and areas for growth, ensuring that progress is both measurable and motivating. Above all, I aim to nurture a genuine appreciation of literature while equipping students with the techniques they need to succeed in exams and beyond.
