About Mia
What sets me apart from most is my ability to deeply understand each topic. and tailor my lessons; teach student's level and abilities. I focus on building confidence and teaching the students in effective, but engaging, entertaining and fun ways: Such as visual aids, inquiry-based learning, and the students' interest. I often show passion and enthusiasm to show the student learning can be fun and exciting. I show encouragement and a supportive environment, and show the student it is okay to make mistakes and to correct them with time! I use creative teaching methods, and able to provide most learning supplies. My lesson plan is to set achievable goals and give rewards in return to each goal; I also look for strengths and areas that need less or more help on, and to have things set like the next book, lesson, and activity that comes with the lesson. Overall, I love and enjoy helping young students and helping them build a strong foundation. (Teaching K-4)
