About Sumiko
I want to teach Japanese because it is a beautiful language that anyone should at least try to learn once in their life. I want to become a Japanese teacher at a school in Australia in the future, so I am using superprof to build more experience in teaching Japanese. I myself have Japanese as a second language and know how difficult it is to acquire it so let's go step by step learning together!

I change my teaching approach depending on what you want to learn and what tools you have.
For learning Japanese grammar (e.g., reading/writing), I follow the curriculum of the textbook you have. If you don't have a textbook, we can find one together that is suitable for your level.
For learning Japanese conversational skills (e.g., listening/speaking), we can practice having conversations in Japanese together. We can also follow a textbook on conversation if you're more comfortable with that.
A typical lesson is 1 hr~1 hr 30 min but we can discuss if you want to make it longer or shorter.
I have been teaching children (ages 14-18) English and math online for 2 years. I am open to teaching any level.
