About the lesson

Drawn to cybersecurity but it seems reserved for experts? Need to secure an application or aiming for a SecOps role? This course is for cybersecurity or computer science students, web and API developers who want to stop flaws in their code, and career changers targeting a SOC analyst or junior pentester position.

My method: you practice from the very first session on legal, controlled environments (dedicated labs, intentionally vulnerable machines); each flaw is understood through a real case, exploited in a lab, then fixed. On the program: OWASP Top 10 (SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, broken auth), network security (Nmap, Wireshark, IDS), applied cryptography (hashing, encryption, TLS), ethical pentesting with a professional methodology, professional tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit, OWASP ZAP), secure development.

Observed results: first vulnerability identified and fixed by the 3rd session, pentest methodology mastered within 8 to 12 weeks; several students became junior analysts or pentesters. Formats: one off, regular, or intensive (CEH, eJPT, PenTest+ prep). Basic computer and network knowledge recommended. First 30 minutes free: first vulnerability assessment done together.
