About Markquis
Born with an innate sense of the arts. I started my professional dance career at the age of 12 with Kuumba Dancers and Drummers the oldest professional dance and drum ensemble in the United States.
Attending Howard W. Blake School of the Arts, where I expanded and honed my technique and knowledge of movement from ballet to contemporary.
Upon graduating I attended
Florida A&M University. Joining Images Modeling Troupe, inc. Where I trained in Runway and Print Modeling, photography, and fashion. Which eventually lead me to my creative director and fashion design careers!
Leading to 2017 where I became a certified producer through TBCN
Currently I am grateful to be one of founders of Onix Media & Productions, LLC. From Tours to Theme Park Entertainment , Stage Plays to Costume Design. Along with Branding media and business solution

All Levels Welcomed! I am extremely patient yet detailed. focusing on fundamentals and concepts.. ex how to isolate your body weight.
The fun starts now! With education at the forefront your soul will leave full & inspired; by the traditional African movements and rhythms that shape the world of dance!
1 hour Class Break Down
15 minutes of Warm up
10 minutes of Education(Orgin of Rhythm and Dance, The Purpose, The Break, and Song)
30 minutes of Choreography
5 minutes Cool Down
Afro Fusion and Afro Beat classes available upon request!
