About Briana

As your dance tutor, I bring both professional experience and academic excellence to every class. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Education and English from Columbia College, a Master's in Education with a focus on Innovation and Divergent Learning, and I am currently completing my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership at Liberty University. I have been a certified teacher for seven years, am Gifted and Talented endorsed, and have been teaching students of all ages for over a decade. While my favorite styles to teach are Contemporary and African, I also have experience in a variety of other dance forms, allowing me to meet students where they are and help them grow. Throughout my career, I have successfully guided students to earn dance scholarships and gain acceptance into respected collegiate dance programs. My professionalism, passion, and commitment ensure that every dancer receives high-quality instruction tailored to their needs and goals.

About the lesson

Students should take dance with me because the class goes beyond movement—it’s about growth, leadership, and confidence. In my class, students gain valuable life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and creative problem-solving while learning to express themselves through dance. I create an encouraging and motivating environment where every student is challenged to push past their comfort zone, but also supported to believe in their own potential. My goal is to inspire dancers to see their strengths on and off the stage, helping them build character that lasts a lifetime. Whether a beginner or experienced dancer, every student will find a place to thrive, grow, and shine.
