About Carolina
Hi everyone, I'm Carolina, 24 years old, from Italy. I have been living in Madrid for 3 years where I am training and working as a professional dancer in contemporary dance. I have had several experiences as a teacher, both in dance academies and after-school schools, with children from kindergarten and elementary school, bringing the little ones closer to the world of dance in a fun and relaxed way. I offer technical and more advanced classes for young people from 11 years old.

My classes are developed based on age and level. In each group, or individual, the demands are evaluated and the classes are adapted. Modern dance classes are taught in 1 hour 1 hour / a half where you begin with warm-up and relaxation exercises to prepare your body and mind for the class. Some music-based exercises continue to be given that progressively increase the difficulty. The class ends with a short choreography. Ballet classes are 1 hour. It begins with exercises on the bar and then goes on to exercises in the space where the sensations are sought to approach this discipline. The teaching methodology belongs to the Russian School (Vaganova). My ballet classes seek to bring the student closer to a deep knowledge of the abilities of their own body, to be able to express themselves and have fun with this beautiful discipline. The classes are focused on giving a basic and solid training to all those aspiring dancers, as well as those who are new and want to put themselves to the test with the art of dance. Musicality and creativity are trained, as well as discipline and correct positioning of the body. The objective of the classes is to make the students enjoy the dance process and their own movements.
