About Maryanne
MSc Business Administration from The Wharton School often taught me theory that did not survive a single day in an actual office. I admit that my transition from industry to tutoring occurred because I saw too many analysts struggling with basic regression modeling or SQL for analytics.
My 6 years of experience in the field allow me to bridge the gap between academic statistics for data science and the realities of production environments. I find it satisfying to turn a messy Jupyter notebook into a functional engine using scikit-learn and exploratory data analysis. Creating Power BI dashboards is enjoyable when you understand the data structure.
