About Luqman
I'm a data scientist with hands-on experience helping businesses solve real problems using data. I'm currently building out a full-stack AI training program to sharpen my skills further. Though new to formal tutoring, I bring strong analytical thinking and patience to every lesson, helping SPM students build genuine confidence in Math and Computer Science.

I focus on building a strong foundation in fundamentals rather than rushing through topics. For Maths, I break problems down step-by-step and make sure students understand the "why" behind a formula, not just how to apply it — this makes it much easier to tackle unfamiliar exam questions. For Computer Science, I connect concepts to real, practical examples (simple programs, everyday logic problems) so it doesn't feel abstract.
Since I'm starting out as a tutor, I put a lot of care into preparation — reviewing the SPM syllabus and past-year questions closely so each lesson is targeted at what the student actually needs, rather than a generic recap.
Lesson length:
I typically run 1-1.5 hour sessions — long enough to properly work through problems together, short enough to keep focus, especially for exam-prep style practice.
My background:
I hold a Bachelor's degree with a strong grounding in Maths and Computer Science. I'm currently also enrolled in an intensive full-stack AI development program, so I'm actively keeping my technical/coding knowledge sharp and current. This is my first tutoring role, so I bring genuine enthusiasm, patience, and a student-first approach — I'm focused on being someone students feel comfortable asking "silly" questions to.
Who my lessons are for:
I teach SPM-level (high school) students in Maths and Computer Science, particularly those who want to strengthen their fundamentals, catch up on topics they're struggling with, or get structured, focused practice ahead of exams.
