Sam and I took A-levels together in Maths and Physics. His help was very useful to me while revising and essential for me in completing my university applications. I'm now working on my master's degree in Physics at my top choice university and wouldn't have got here without him. Since then he's also graduated from a Medical Science degree, and completed a learning and teaching course there, so I'm confident he's well suited to tutoring.

I have known Sam for over a decade and during that time he has always been reliable, passionate about learning, and insightful; able to explain both simple and complex topics with ease. Combined with his teaching training he acquired while reading his degree at De Montfort University and the communication skills he enhanced through his student representation work make him a very capable teacher for a variety of students. Sam approaches teaching with care and respect towards his students, ensuring that they gain as much as possible from his lessons. He is a brilliant person and a brilliant teacher.

Having known Sam for a number of years, I can confidently say what an intelligent and empathetic individual he is, with a real passion for learning. Throughout his academic career he has always strived to go further, being in the cadets at secondary school, receiving teacher training from his university and representing students whenever he has had the opportunity. I believe that the combination of his academic skills, calm and approachable personality and genuine desire to help others would make him an excellent tutor.
