About Dana
I am a Deaf teacher who teaches ASL to both Deaf and hearing students. My lessons focus on you—what you’re already learning and what you want to achieve. We practice real-life signing, conversations, and learn about Deaf culture. My teaching is practical and supportive, helping you feel confident, understand better, and fill in anything you’re unsure about. Every lesson is designed around your goals, whether for school, community classes, or personal learning, so you get a meaningful and amazing experience.

Each lesson is flexible and based on the student’s goals and current learning. A typical session might include:
Reviewing school or personal vocabulary lists.
Practicing grammar, sentence structure, and conversation skills.
Introducing or reinforcing cultural aspects of the Deaf community.
Wrapping up with feedback, Q&A, and homework or practice suggestions.
I offer ASL tutoring that focuses on practical application and Deaf culture, not just memorizing signs.
