About Adin
Teaching is something I enjoy. I love sharing knowledge and helping people discover what they are capable of. I think a lot of people underestimate what they are capable of and I find it very rewarding to help students gain confidence and achieve goals they may not have thought possible. At the same time, I enjoy learning from the students. And I think everyone can teach you something great. Everyone sees things differently My lessons are patient, practical and engaging, with an emphasis on creating an environment where curiosity, growth and meaningful learning can thrive. I also enjoy the human aspect of teaching, where one can visibly see someone understanding the work and their confidence increases as they learn.

I am a patient, pragmatic tutor who loves helping students grasp difficult ideas through clear, engaging explanations. As a Dean’s list Political Science student at UCT and prospective Honours candidate I have a specialisation in research, critical analysis, essay writing and theory synthesis. I adapt lessons to suit the student’s learning style and aims and keep material relevant and accessible. Having tutored four Economics students through their Matric successfully I know how to build confidence and improve results (I, myself, at the time was a matric student). I also give students examples of stronger and weaker academic work from my own studies so they can see what to do, what to avoid and that improvement is always possible. I also build my lessons around the specific needs of my students so that what they require would already be at the forefront.
