About Shrey
Hello! I'm Shrey, and I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) from IGNOU. Alongside my studies, I’ve developed a strong passion for teaching, especially in the subjects of History, Civics, Political Science, and Geography for students from Class 3 to 12. I believe that learning becomes powerful when it's shared. Over the years, I’ve seen how many students find social science subjects challenging or uninteresting—not because they’re difficult, but because they haven’t been taught in a way that connects with real life. That’s why I started tutoring. I want to help students see these subjects from a fresh perspective—one that is clear, engaging, and easy to understand. Teaching gives me a sense of purpose. It allows me to support others in their learning journey while also deepening my own understanding. I enjoy watching students grow more confident, curious, and capable with each session. As a tutor, my approach is student-focused, interactive, and results-driven. I believe that learning should be engaging and meaningful, especially in subjects like History, Civics, Political Science, and Geography, which are often seen as theory-heavy. I aim to make these subjects easy to understand by connecting them to real-life situations and using storytelling techniques to keep students interested. With 2 years of experience tutoring students from Class 3 to 12, I’ve learned how important it is to adapt to each student’s learning style. Some need visual explanations, others prefer discussions—so I adjust my teaching methods accordingly. I create a comfortable environment where students feel free to ask questions and express doubts without hesitation.
