About Anu
I am a dedicated Carnatic Music teacher currently pursuing a BA in Music and have been teaching students for the past 2 years. My passion for music and teaching motivates me to help students learn in an enjoyable and effective way. I teach students of different age groups and skill levels, from beginners to those with prior musical knowledge.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and student-centered. I believe that every student learns at a different pace, so I customize my lessons according to each
My teaching methodology focuses on building a strong foundation in Carnatic music through systematic and structured training. Classes include shruti practice, swara exercises, voice culture, rhythm training, theory lessons, and practical singing sessions. I ensure that students understand the concepts clearly before moving on to advanced lessons. Regular revision, practice guidance, and constructive feedback help students improve steadily.
My students have shown noticeable improvement in pitch accuracy, rhythm, confidence, and overall musical understanding. Through consistent practice and guidance, they develop strong fundamentals and a deeper appreciation for Carnatic music. I believe in encouraging students to enjoy the learning process while achieving their musical goals.
