About Leah
With an MSc in Chemistry and over eight years of teaching experience, I’ve learned that chemistry is best taught as a language of transformation. My role is to help students interpret that language — connecting atomic interactions to the tangible phenomena they experience every day. I teach through a balance of clarity and curiosity. I aim to make learners comfortable with uncertainty — encouraging exploration before conclusion, and reasoning before recall. This helps them retain knowledge more deeply and apply it creatively. Over the years, I’ve guided students through high school, university, and research preparation, focusing on topics like organic synthesis, kinetics, and analytical chemistry. I’ve seen hesitant learners grow into confident problem-solvers capable of analyzing data and predicting outcomes. My classes are discussion-driven, not lecture-heavy. I listen, adapt, and build a path that matches every student’s learning rhythm. Whether it’s simplifying stoichiometry or explaining electron movement, I ensure that clarity replaces confusion through patient guidance.

My Chemistry lessons bridge imagination and precision. I begin with real-world analogies to simplify the molecular world — explaining reactions through stories of transformation, stability, and energy exchange. Each class transforms abstract topics into memorable visuals.
Students explore atomic structure, bonding, thermodynamics, and organic chemistry through guided reasoning rather than rote learning. I emphasize understanding molecular behavior and chemical logic — what truly drives reactions — using models, diagrams, and digital simulations.
Every session includes interactive exercises, experimental thinking, and practice-based reinforcement. Learners analyze equations, explore reaction mechanisms, and connect theory with lab applications, ensuring they build conceptual and practical fluency.
To make learning relevant, I weave chemistry into biology, industry, and environmental science, showing how reactions shape medicine, energy, and everyday materials. This helps students appreciate chemistry as a living science that connects deeply to human progress.
By the end, my students don’t just memorize reactions — they think like chemists, developing observation, analytical skill, and curiosity to decode the unseen structures shaping our world.
