My name is Shamsiya, and I am a fully qualified Computer Science teacher (QTS), with experience teaching students from KS3 to KS5 since 2020. I am passionate about helping learners build strong foundations in computing, from basic digital literacy to advanced programming and data science. I am Shamsiya, a dedicated computer science educator with QTS, teaching since 2020 across Key Stages 3 to 5. I bring a strong academic foundation paired with hands-on experience in programming, data analysis, and machine learning. My goal is to make computing concepts accessible, relevant, and engaging for all learners. My Teaching Approach I tailor each lesson to meet the learner’s needs, using real-world examples, interactive coding tasks, and visual explanations to solidify understanding. I focus on building confidence as well as competence—whether it’s mastering Python, understanding algorithms, or preparing for exams. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, though I also offer shorter sessions (30-45 mins) for younger students or focused revision. Who I Teach My sessions are ideal for: KS3–KS5 students (ages 11–18), including GCSE and A-Level Computer Science. Beginners interested in coding, AI basics, or data science. Students who need extra support, want to excel further, or are preparing for assessments.
