I am a final-year Foundation Phase Education student passionate about helping young learners grow in confidence and enjoy learning. My lessons are designed for Grade R–3 learners and focus on creating a positive, supportive, and engaging environment where children feel comfortable to learn at their own pace.
My teaching approach includes fun games, rhymes, songs, storytelling, and play-based learning to make lessons interactive and enjoyable. I believe children learn best when they are actively involved, encouraged, and having fun. I am patient, creative, and adapt my teaching methods to suit each learner’s individual needs and learning style.
I am proficient in Afrikaans and can teach in a clear, simple, and learner-friendly way. During lessons, students can expect interactive activities, revision of schoolwork, reading and writing support, basic numeracy practice, and encouragement to build confidence and independence.
My lessons are aimed at Foundation Phase learners from Grade R to Grade 3 who may need extra support, homework assistance, help with reading and writing, or simply a fun and caring learning experience.
